Elizabeth Nicolson, died Thursday, May 1, 2025 at the age of 80.
Beloved daughter of the late Jean & John Nicolson, loving sister of Linda Clarke and the late John Nicolson, sister-in-law of Tom, cherished aunt of Chris (Meghan) and Jennifer (Glenn), and great-aunt of Cillian, Ciara, Orla and Seamus. Elizabeth was originally from Glasgow, Scotland. She graduated from Our Lady & St. Francis
High School, before later coming to the United States in 1971, where she worked for Klauber Bros. as a bookkeeper. She was an avid reader of murder mystery books and enjoyed watching movies. Betty was known for her generosity, kindness and compassion, and will be missed by all who knew her. Mass of Christian Burial offered at St. Stanislaus Church on Thursday, May 8th, 2025 at 10 AM. Private Cremation followed at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, NY under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Avenue Maspeth, NY 11378
