Maria J. Vargas passed away on Sunday, October 22, 2023 at the age of 90. Beloved mother of Martha Benavides, Jose (Melida) Arcos, Alejandro (Fanny) Arcos, Janet (Washington) Sanchez, Fernando (Zulma) Vargas and Hugo (Jenny) Vargas, loving grandmother of 13 grandchildren and cherished great-grandmother of 6 great-grandchildren. Funeral Services held at Papavero Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 25, 2023 at 10 AM. Interment followed at Pinelawn Memorial Park, Farmingdale, NY under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Avenue, Maspeth NY 11378.
