Mercedes Gomez passed away on Friday, October 6, 2023 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Jose I. Gomez, loving mother of Jose Gomez, Rogelio Gomez, Raquel Gomez & Santiago Gomez, cherished grandmother of Valeska,Vanessa, Xavier, Gabriel, Ryan, Kevin, Michelle, Rachel, Nickson, James, Masiel, Genesis, Ariel, Bianca, Celine, Joyce, Christian and Josias, great-grandmother of Damian, Jaxson, Aliana, Devin, Eli and Caia, dear sister of Teddy, Aracelia, Anna, German, Altagracia, Mercedes, Rudy and Elena, and also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mass of Christian Burial offered at St. Sebastian Church on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at 9:45AM. Interment followed at Lutheran All-Faiths Cemetery, Middle Village, NY under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Avenue, Maspeth NY 11378.
