Johnny Gilkes passed away on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at the age of 75. Beloved Husband of the late Janine Gilkes. Loving Father of Chris Gilkes, Candice DeTurris and Craig Gilkes and Father-in-Law of Angela, Anthony and Michelle. Cherished Grandfather of Dakota, Jaden, Ava, Chase, Tyler, Mason and Austin. Mr. Gilkes was a United States Army Veteran. Mass of Christian Burial was offered at St. Stanislaus Church on Thursday, December 1, 2022 at 9:30 AM. Private Cremation followed at Fresh Pond Road Crematory, Middle Village, NY under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Avenue, Maspeth NY 11378.
