Schedule set for 2026-27 Cosmopolitan Soccer League season!

The 2026-27 Cosmopolitan Soccer League season is just days away! After a fantastic year of soccer last season, over 50 teams (and 26 reserve teams) will kick off across the various divisions of New York’s oldest amateur soccer league.
This year the standings will feature plenty of new faces, some familiar clubs making returns or entering new divisions, and many setting new goals after last season.
In the league’s top division, things look very different. Five clubs are entering the division and three are gone, meaning the table will increase from 10 teams to 12.
After a near-perfect season earned their first CSL Division 1 title last year, FC Sandzak has been promoted to the American Premier Soccer League’s Metropolitan Division. They’ll be testing their skills against some of the top semi professional clubs in the country, with their first match against 2026 regular season champions NY Greek Americans.
Entering the fray for the upcoming campaign are Division 2 champions NY International FC (consolidating their club back down to two teams after competing in the APSL last year), Division 2’s promoted clubs NY Galicia and Brooklyn City FC, Division 3 champions Braza Futbol, and newcomers New Amsterdam FC. The other two clubs not returning for 2026-27 are Zum Schneider FC 03 and Block FC.
In the first week of action, with matches set for Saturday, September 12 and Sunday, September 13, Braza Futbol will play Hoboken FC 2, New Amsterdam will take on Laberia FC, Polonia SC hosts Manhattan Kickers, NY International plays NY Ukrainians, Central Park Rangers 2 will play Brooklyn City, and Manhattan Celtic will take on NY Galicia.
The CSL’s second division will be split into two tables this year, featuring teams like NY Shamrocks, FC Japan, NY Athletic Club 2, NY Finest FC, SC Eintracht, and SC Football Crew.
An array of new arrivals are scattered throughout the third and fourth divisions, meaning the upcoming year will be full of new rivalries and unexpected twists. We should be in store for a fantastic season when the ball gets rolling.
