William Mensche, died Wednesday, February 12, 2025 at the age of 94. Beloved husband of nearly 70 years to Rosemarie Mensche, loving father of Angelina Mandato, William Mensche and the late Diana J. Mensche, father-in-law of George and Kim, cherished grandfather of Michele, George, Kaitlin and Isabella, and great-grandfather of Elia. Sonny was a Merchant Marine, longshoreman and carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, his time as a Boy Scout Leader, and long drives with his love, Rosemarie. His favorite moments were dinners and celebrations of steak, red wine and chocolate surrounded by his loving family. Sonny will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. Mass of Christian Burial offered at St. Mary’s Church on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at 10:30 AM.
