Raquel L. Racelis, died Thursday, August 15, 2024 at the age of 78.
It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Raquel L. Racelis, who left us on Thursday, August 15th. She was 78 years old. Raquel Racelis was born in Lucena City, Philippines. She was the first of her family to venture to the United States. Raquel was a Nurse Practitioner and worked in health care for over 30 years. She was a healer, philanthropist, a teacher, a researcher, an entrepreneur, a life-time learner, a devoted wife, beloved parent/family member, and a remote evangelist who dedicated herself to spreading God’s word. Throughout her life, she made a lasting impact on those around her with her unshakeable faith, generosity, kindness and love. Raquel Racelis is survived by her two sons Michael and Ramel Racelis and two sisters Eunice Lorico and Dr. Abegael Lorico. She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Nemesio Estrellado Lorico, Sr, Exequiela Norada Lorico, siblings Marvin T. Lorico, Mercedes T, Lorico, Nemesio T. Lorico, Jr., Tomas N. Villasante, Dr. Loida Villasante Bautista, and Nehemias N. Lorico.
Raquel Racelis will be remembered for her deep care for others, her
compassion, and willingness to help others. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.

Ginesia Reale, died Saturday, April 22, 2023 at the age of 89.
Beloved wife of the late Mario Reale, loving mother of Bruno, (Marie) and Roberto (Sue Ann), cherished grandmother of Vincent (Allison), Elizabeth, and Cristina (Gretchen).
Ginesia Reale lived a beautiful and fulfilling life surrounded by family and friends. She was born on August 24, 1933 in a small town in Italy called Villa Santa Maria. Although the youngest of 4 siblings, she was the most adventurous. In 1952 she married the love of her life Mario and set sail to America in hope of a promising future. Together they had two wonderful sons, Bruno and Roberto, and they were raised in Elmhurst, New York.
Ginesia started her job as a seamstress in 1970 and worked for various shops in Manhattan.
She made beautiful clothes for Barra Italy and Escada. On April 27, 1980, she experienced the profound loss of her husband and has missed him dearly every day since.
Throughout her life she gained two daughter in laws and became “Nonna” to three loving grandchildren. She loved entertaining, keeping a tidy house, sharing stories about Italy, and cooking for her family especially on holidays. Her famous dishes include lasagna, potato croquettes, and fried zucchini. She will be deeply missed and may her legacy live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
