Joan Elizabeth McDonald (nee Martin) Born 30 December 1926 Died 23 November 2023 Graduated Sacred Heart Academy Washington, DC 6 June 1944 Graduated Kings County Hospital School of Nursing Brooklyn, NY 26 November 1947 University of the state of New York, Education department Licensed Registered professional  Nurse 29 January 1948 Pennsylvania and Central Airlines Corporation Airline Hostess 29 July 1948 Registered Nurse at the United Nations in early 1960s. Moved on to head nurse in the Emergency Room at Bellevue Hospital in. the late 1960s in New York City. In the 70’s went to NYU (Langone) and worked for Surgeon Milton Rickman until retirement in 1992. Will be missed by everyone she touched. Survived by sons Michael and Donald. Was predeceased by daughter Katherine in 2019 on January 23.
