Garrett Richard Herman, died Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at the age of 47. Herman, Garrett Richard – passed away suddenly on Tuesday, November 7th at home in east Rockaway. Gary loved his daughter, Peneople, more than anything in the world and his mother always remained a constant in his life – in his court no matter what. A Franklin Square native, Gary had a large circle of friends and was happiest in their company while camping in Harriman State Park or holding sabbath Marches. He enjoyed walks in Hempstead Lake State Park with his longtime partner Kelly and enjoyed any opportunity to sit with friends and loved ones to share inappropriate jokes, laughs, and memories. Gary leaves behind his mother, Virginia Herman (nee Principe), brothers Douglas (Sonia), Christopher (Annie), and Jonathan (Tracie), niece Lily, and nephews Lorenzo and Julian.
