William R. Browne passed away on Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at the age of 83. Beloved husband of Margaret E. Browne, loving father of John Browne, Eileen Brown and Catherine LeRoy, father-in-law of Eileen and Greg, cherished grandfather of Katharine, Padraic, Matthew and Ryan, dear brother of the late Margaret, Daniel, Jack, Mary Alice, Michael, Matthew, and Thomas and also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial offered at St. Mary’s Church on Friday, August 4, 2023 at 10:30 AM. Private Cremation followed at Fresh Pond Crematory, Middle Village, NY under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Avenue, Maspeth NY 11378.
