Edward Zelezny passed away on Friday, June 9, 2023 at the age of 92. Beloved husband of Elizabeth Zelezny for 68 years, loving father of Susan (Richard) Streilein and Thomas (Carol) Zelezny, cherished grandfather of Kaitlin, Brian,Thomas James and Julia and great-grandfather of Quinn, Sloan and Scott. Mr. Zelezny was a United States Marine Corps Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict and a longtime automotive mechanic who retired from the DSNY. Funeral Services held at Papavero Funeral Home on Tuesday, June 13th, 2023 from 11 AM – 1PM.  Interment followed at Mount Olivet Cemetery, Maspeth NY under the direction of Papavero Funeral Home, 72-27 Grand Avenue, Maspeth NY 11378.

John T. Mentz passed away on Monday, May 29, 2023 at the age of 74. 41-year employee of AND Electrical Instruments of Glendale. Survived by his brother Steven, also Uncle Robert of California. Survived by 4 nieces and nephews. Interment followed at St. Charles Cemetery, under the direction of Lindenhurst Funeral Home.
