Speaking of all things Flushing, we know this doesn't really have anything to do with politics, but somebody alerted us to this Youtube video recently that officially gives the neighborhood its street cred, putting it right up there with such hip-hop heavyweight spots as Bed-Stuy, the Queeensbridge and Marcy Projects, and Jamaica. And can we just say that if you are a rapper from Flushing, and it never dawned on you to use Royal Flush for your rap moniker like one of the rappers in this
video, then shame on you and your game. (Warning: Explicit language.)
