Though the win was outside of league play, and didn’t help Francis Lewis (6-0 in the PSAL) it was still quite a statement for the current top ranked team in the PSAL. Francis Lewis defeated neighborhood rival St. Francis Prep, the best team in CHSAA Brooklyn/Queens, 25-14, 25-22, at the Lady Patriots Volleyball Invitational in Fresh Meadows.
Next up for Francis Lewis, as it continues to stay on a roll this week, is RFK, on Monday, and Harris on Wednesday.
