Marie Hilgeman died on October 13, 2008 at the age of 99. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis, devoted mother of Mary Hilgeman and Nancy Yamanaka, loving grandmother of Sara, Kaya and Kentaro. Service was offered at Our Lady of the Miraculous Medal Church on Thursday at 9:45 AM. Interment was in Woodlawn Cemetery under the direction of Hess-Miller Funeral Home 64-19 Metropolitan Ave., Middle Village, NY 11379
