Police are on the hunt for a suspect they believe shot a man three times on a Kew Gardens street in a dispute apparently stemming from a chess match. Didier Medor, 30, allegedly shot the unidentified 29-year-old victim in front of 123-40 83rd Avenue at 1 a.m. on July 14, and hasn't been seen since. Medor's last known address was 123-33 83rd Avenue, near the scene of the crime.
