Extracurricular Activities: In Adulting 101, Jeanites build self-confidence, learn how to land an interview for college and internships, and develop financial literacy skills that will enable them to meet the responsibilities of becoming adults. InGirls Who Code, Jeanites partner with educators from J.P. Morgan Chase to learn how to code and create apps for Androids and iPhones. Through God, Earth and Creatures, Jeanites volunteer at animal shelters and advocate for the fair treatment of all of God’s creatures. In K-Pop, Jeanites learn about Korean culture, language and music then perform at the annual Christmas and Spring talent/fashion shows. American Sign Language is led by our very own student, and Jeanites are taught how to communicate with friends and loved ones using sign language.

College Credit Courses: Literature and College Writing as well as 9 AP Courses in Calculus, English, European and American History, U.S. Government, Spanish Language, Chemistry, Studio Art and Art History
Unique Academic Programs: SJB offers a wide range of elective courses for students beginning in grade nine. The fine arts program includes 3-D printing, sketching, painting, photography, fashion design and animation. The science electives preview college level courses like anatomy and physiology and forensics science. Electives in our foreign language and humanities departments allow our students to explore interests in Spanish literature, law and social justice. Partnerships with St. Joseph's College and Fordham University increase opportunities for college credits while broadening access to courses within licensed professions.
Admissions Requirements: Good scores on the TACHS exam, middle school academic average of an 80 or higher, good conduct and attendance. Honors placement for those students who demonstrate excellent conduct and earn a 90 academic average or higher in grades sixth, seventh and eight.
Financial Aid Requirements: Students may apply for merit and art scholarships after selecting SJB as their first or second choice on the TACHS exam. Students may apply for tuition assistance at registration in March of 2021.
