What makes St. Agnes a Top High School? St. Agnes Academic High School, founded by the Sisters of St. Dominic, is a culturally diverse Catholic high school for young women that develops a strong foundation for lifelong learning. By building upon each student's faith and challenging her full academic potential, our mission is to graduate women who are open to growth, intellectually competent, socially aware, morally discerning, and committed to being women of integrity and truth.
One-hundred percent of students graduate and continue on to college, state of the art physics lab, bio and chemistry lab, medical lab, dance studio and fitness center, Honors Program and a SETSS Program staffed by two full-time special education teachers, offering a comprehensive and supportive strategy for students with individual education plans.
More than half of students participate on a sports team. Three St. Agnes buses provide pick-up and drop-off service throughout the borough of Queens. Three full-time guidance counselors offer individual counseling, peer tutoring, group guidance and a school based social worker is on staff. SAT prep classes are incorporated into the school schedule at no extra charge. All students have a Chrome book and we use Google classroom in school and for remote learning.
