Just four votes ahead of the Knights were the defending champion Bears of NYIT in first place with 62 points and six first-place nods. LIU Post was tabbed third, while District of Columbia was slotted in fourth. Roberts Wesleyan, St. Thomas Aquinas, Daemen and Molloy rounded out the poll.
The Knights made their 17th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance last season, winning the East Region 2 title over Goldey-Beacom. Queens defeated LIU Post in the semifinals of the ECC Championship in the fall before falling to NYIT in the title match.

Queens will open its season at home on Friday, September 1, against West Liberty before opening ECC play at home against Roberts Wesleyan one week later. The Knights will host the ECC Championship once again, which will take place on October 27 and 28.
