Soon, you could pay homage to legendary NBA player Anthony Mason through a pair of vibrant sneakers. Mason’s son, Anthony Mason Jr., designed a pair of Anthony Mason Tribute Ewing Concepts as a tribute to his father and his stellar 13-year career.

“It's a blessing to be able to create and it was only right that my first opportunity I pay tribute to father's legacy and life,” he said. “I would like to thank Ewing Athletics for their help making this tribute come to life and donating our proceeds to my Family on Three Foundation.”

The Ewing Concept was originally legend Patrick Ewing's game shoe in the ‘91-’92 season. That particular season was the first year Ewing and Mason were teammates. The new design features New York City’s colors, blue and orange. Proceeds from the shoe will benefit the Family on Three Foundation, a youth enrichment organization whom honors Mason's legacy. The sneaker release will be at Jimmy Jazz's Queens location at 89-45 165th Street in Jamaica on Saturday, July 29 at 2 p.m.
