It was a close game until Weatherproof Industries upped the effort on defense, which led to easy fast-break points. Justin Corke also contributed in the winning effort with great rebounding.

Behind the play of Omar Diplan, who notched 15 points and five rebounds, Weatherproof Elite remains undefeated on the season. Nino Radoncic also added 12 points and four assists for Weatherproof, as they went got out to an early lead and never looked back, enjoying a 27-11 lead at the half. EBC came out stronger in the second stanza behind high scores Ozzy Villafana and Jerry Vargas, but trading baskets was not enough to overcome the deficit.
Team Phenom 44
The Hurricanes dominated Team Phenom in the second half behind the play of Gustavo Guillan, who dropped 20 points in the contest. Although the game was tight in the first half, with Team Phenom’s Johann Roque and Andrew Stacy keeping the Hurricanes in check, the victors still enjoyed a 29-22 lead at the half. In the second half, Hurricanes’ Miguel Mitch lit up the boards with six rebounds and 13 points to boost his team. The Hurricanes are now 2-1 on the season.

Team Phenom outlasted HBT Elite in a thrilling nip-and-tuck game. HBT Elite, led by Matthew Altamirno with 15 points, had a 32-31 halftime advantage, but Team Phenom, behind the play of Avner Yashayev and Kamil Wojtewic who combined for 24 points, were able to squeeze out the victory.

Point guard JC Medina’s eight wowed the crowd at Crowley Park, as his undefeated squad got past Flushing Express. Weatherproof had just a 19-17 halftime lead, and a win was in doubt until the two-minute mark in the game. Max Tockarshewsky and Nicholas Mauceri led Flushing Express, but it wasn't enough as Medina and Tyler Ortiz teamed up for 21 of Weatherproof’s 40 points in the win.
