Dear Editor,

Edward Riecks writes that there's a difference in how Republicans and Democrats react to loss and adversity (“Two Reactions” - 2/9).

He argues that when Barack Obama won the presidency, Republicans were unhappy about it but their strategy was to organize, form the Tea Party, raise money and vote.

He forgot to mention illegal redistricting, voter suppression and "Citizens United," which gave corporations the ability to give unlimited donations to GOP candidates.
