Dear Editor:

Expectedly (in view of his Marxist ideology), mayor-elect Bill de Blasio is lobbying the City Council to elect liberal East Harlem Councilwoman Melissa Mark-Viverito as council speaker.

Her buddy is Evo Morales, Bolivia's anti-American socialist president (and coca farmer), whom she supported in 2008 by traveling to Bolivia during a recall election against this cocalero trade unionist, who supports coca farming (the source for cocaine), banned the U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency in 2008, and allied with Castro (Cuba), Chavez (Venezuela), and Ahmadinejad (Iran), all notorious anti-American statesmen.

Also in 2008, Mark-Viverito (along with Comptroller John Liu) presented Morales with a framed honorarium after his Manhattan speech in which he decried the American imperialist "conspiracy' against Bolivian socialism due to American efforts to reduce coca farming.

Does New York City need a "cuckoo for coca" Leftist as our next speaker? And, further, if the council is stacked with liberal Democrats, then checks and balances between the executive and legislative branches are obstructed.

What next? Will de Blasio (like Hugo Chavez) ask the legislature to grant him autocratic powers to rule only by "executive orders?" I have an excellent idea. Let's deport de Blasio and Mark-Viverito to Cuba.
