CB5 to meet on Wed., Nov. 13

The next monthly meeting of Community Board 5 will take place on Wednesday, November 13, at 7:30 p.m. in the cafeteria of Christ the King High School, 68-02 Metropolitan Avenue in Middle Village.

The agenda includes a presentation by Ramon Rodriguez, president and CEO of Wyckoff Heights Medical Center, regarding their ongoing transformation into a neighborhood hospital.

The Zoning and Land Use Review Committee is scheduled to deliver a report regarding 10 Woodward Avenue in Ridgewood regarding a request to permit construction of a proposed warehouse that would be built partially within the bed of a mapped street at the southwest corner of Metropolitan Avenue.

There will also be a discussion on the renewal of a permit for Pollos Mario at 63-20 Woodhaven Blvd. to continue operation of an enclosed sidewalk cafe with 10 tables and 40 seats.

The agenda also includes a review of current applications for the local sale of alcoholic beverages, a review of current building demolition notices, other

committee reports, and the public forum.
