That is why when Long Island City resident Aaron Popowsky found out about N-Hance Revolutionary Wood Renewal, he jumped at the opportunity to work with them.
Popowsky recently purchased the only N-Hance franchise in New York City. Being in the general contacting industry throughout his life, Popowsky feels like this is more an addition than an overhaul.
“I didn’t want to change anything I was doing,” he said. “I’m just adding to my arsenal.”
N-Hance is a company that treats wood with a water-based polyurethane that is less messy and contains fewer toxins than the traditional petroleum-based varnish.
“I came across N-Hance Wood Renewal while in Home Depot,” said Popowsky. “For me it was a bit of a turn on to see the N-Hance process.
He has always had aspirations of starting his own franchise, but wanted to first find a product to base his business around.
“This will offer my clients revolutionary technology,” he said. “It’s a light-speed instant wood cure finish.”
Popowsky said in Western Queens there are numerous residents and owners of co-ops and townhouses that will need a cost-effective way to make the wood in their homes look new again.
“One of the big selling points is that N-Hance literally has the same effect of sanding down a floor,” he said.
He purchased the franchise over the summer and will officially launch N-Hance Metro New York in October.
“There is no dust, no mess and no odor,” Popowsky said. “The industry has never seen anything like this.”
