On Friday, May 3, Belmont and Aqueduct will offer wagering on the 12-race Kentucky Oaks Day card at Churchill Downs, as well as advance wagering on Saturday’s Kentucky Derby.
First race post at Churchill Downs on Oaks and Derby days is 10:30 a.m. and parking lots at Aqueduct and Belmont Park will open at 9:45 a.m., with admission gates opening at 10 a.m. on both days.
On Friday, Oaks Day, voucher sellers and self-service windows will open at 10 a.m., with live tellers available in all areas beginning at 11:15 and remaining open until the after the Oaks (approximate post 5:45 p.m.).
Beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Derby Day, both Aqueduct and Belmont will offer staffed windows, voucher sellers and self-service machines. Windows will remain open in all areas until the conclusion of the Derby (approximate post 6:24 p.m.), after which clerks will be available only on the first floor at Aqueduct and the Belmont Café at Belmont.
Early wagering is available both days on the first floor at Aqueduct and the first floor grandstand, Belmont Café and the fourth floor Garden Terrace at Belmont.
In addition to the Churchill Downs simulcast, Belmont offers great live racing all weekend. The Grade 3, $150,000 Fort Marcy on the turf and the Grade 3, $150,000 Beaugay for turf fillies and mares will be contested on Saturday and the New York Stallion Series returns on Sunday with the $100,000 Times Square division for 3-year-old sprinters and the $100,000 Park Avenue division for sophomore filly sprinters.
