The Queens Botanical Garden celebrated Arbor Day on Sunday, welcoming visitors to the Flushing garden to take part in Arbor Fest.

There were plenty of activities throughout the day, including guided tours of the Bird & Nature Walk, a Garden Tour led by executive director Susan Lacerte, a Flushing High School kung fu demonstration, and must by No Regrets.

Assemblywoman Nily Rozic, whose district includes QBG, also stopped by for a visit.

For the kids, there was face painting, old-time games, petting zoo and the TD Bank Craft Table.

For the adults, there was a beer tent and plenty of food trucks, including Famous Dave's, Hibachi Heaven, and Shorty's, to name a few.
