In a night of boxing at the Aviator Sports Complex in Brooklyn this past weekend, Sadam Ali defeated Ronnie Warrior to win the vacant IBO Welterweight championship.

The undefeated Ali caught Warrior on the ropes and put him away at the 2:59 mark of the second round.

On the undercard, Michel Constantino, who is missing one of his hands, won his first professional fight, defeating Nathan Oritz with a knockout in the second round. The crowd favorite was cheered on as he put pressure on Oritz.

Steven Gamache won a decision over Jose Angel Ortiz in a fight that Gamache dominated. It was his third victory.

Santandner Silgado of Columbia, who now fights out of Brooklyn, won a lopsided decision over Joell Godfrey, who seemed content to lean on the ropes and take punishment from Silgado, who wore him down as the fight went on. Godrey did land one big right hand that shook up Silgado.

In a very sloppy fight, Ramadon Yassar defeated Tim Johnson. Yassar almost knocked out Johnson in the second round, and after that kept making faces on his way to winning by decision.
