Cozy up at the Park Slope Tea Lounge for an evening of live storytelling.
I Like You, Maude was created for those with a desire to share their true, personal stories onstage. Anyone can put their name in the hat for a chance to tell a five-minute tale, without notes or paper, on any topic.
Seasoned storytellers and comedians test out new work while newbies brave the spotlight for the first time. For having the plums to bare one’s soul in front of a live audience, every storyteller wins a few prizes.
Each show includes a very special guest storyteller.
Past performers include 17-time Moth StorySLAM winner Adam Wade, Onion News Network Contributor and comedian Matt Koff, and former host of Nickelodeon’s Blue’s Clues, Steve Burns.
