Manchester United manager David Moyes pictured during the English Premier League match against Everton at Goodison Park in Liverpool on April 20, 2014Leading British bookmakers stopped taking bets on David Moyes being sacked as Manchester United manager Monday after several national newspapers said he was about to be fired. Sky Bet cut their odds on Moyes leaving United before the end of May to 1/4 from 9/4 before suspending betting. Ladbrokes installed United great Ryan Giggs, currently a player/coach at Old Trafford, as the 5/1 favourite to replace Moyes before they too suspended betting on their "next manager to leave" market. Meanwhile United have so far refused to comment on the reports that Moyes is about to be sacked.
