Russia's decision to send a convoy of aid trucks across the border into eastern Ukraine without Kiev's consent or an escort of international observers is a clear violation of Ukraine's border, the EU's foreign policy chief's office said on Friday. A Hamas militant grabs a Palestinian suspected of collaborating with Israel in Gaza CityBy Nidal al-Mughrabi and Allyn Fisher-Ilan GAZA/JERUSALEM (Reuters) - Hamas-led gunmen in Gaza executed 18 Palestinians accused of collaborating with Israel on Friday, a day after Israeli forces killed three Hamas commanders, the highest-ranking militants to die in the six-week war. A further 11 were killed at an abandoned police station near Gaza City, Hamas security officials said. "The resistance has begun an operation called 'strangling the necks', targeting collaborators who aid the (Israeli) occupation, kill our people and destroy houses," said Al-Majd, a website run by Hamas's internal security service.

MOSCOW (Reuters) - The first trucks in a Russian humanitarian convoy have reached the city of Luhansk in east Ukraine, Interfax news agency reported on Friday, citing pro-Russian rebels who control the city. Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko said earlier in the day that the entry of the Russian aid convoy into Ukraine represented a violation of international law and called on Moscow to return the situation to an internationally legal footing.
