"As a result of shooting by a security guard of the Cure hospital... three foreign nationals have been killed and one female medical staff injured," a statement from the ministry of interior said. Cure International is a non-profit organisation based in Pennsylvania, operating hospitals in 29 countries. A doctor who was treating the wounded at the Cure International hospital in the Afghan capital said at least one of those killed was a foreign doctor.
