England head coach Peter Moores attends a press conference ahead of the 4th Npower Test match between England and South Africa, at the Brit Oval, in London, on August 5, 2008Peter Moores has been given a second chance as England head coach, after the England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced his appointment on Saturday. Moores, the first man to twice be appointed England coach, replaced Andy Flower after the former Zimbabwe batsman stood down following the team's 5-0 Ashes thrashing in Australia. In a two-year spell from 2007 to 2009, the 51-year-old Moores led England in seven Test series, starting with a 3-0 win over West Indies, after replacing Duncan Fletcher. However, he was forced out in 2009 following a rift with Kevin Pietersen that cost the star batsman the England captaincy, although the ECB ended Pietersen's international career after the recent Ashes debacle.

Mercedes AMG Petronas driver Lewis Hamilton of Britain drives on the back straight during the third practice session of the Formula One Chinese Grand Prix in Shanghai on April 19, 2014Lewis Hamilton convincingly snared pole position for the Chinese Grand Prix Saturday as he put himself in line to win three races in a row for the first time and seize control of the championship. Under steady rain, the British Mercedes driver was untouchable as he powered to 1min 53.860sec, his third pole position in four races this season and more than half-a-second ahead of Daniel Ricciardo. Australian driver Ricciardo again out-qualified his Red Bull team-mate Sebastian Vettel, the four-time defending world champion, who was third in 1:54.960. Hamilton's team-mate and championship leader Nico Rosberg could only manage fourth place in the slippery conditions as he ran wide on the last bend of his final flying lap and spun spectacularly.
