The City Planning Commission this week certified the $3 billion project to develop the first phase of Willets Point,as well as turn part of Citi Field's parking lot into a 1 million-square-foot entertainment and retail complex.

Now the public will get a chance to review the project.

Jesse Masyr, legal representation for Queens Development Group, said the group has created a website with facts and information about the project.

“It is going to inform the public of what is going on,” Masyr said.

On the Willets Point site, over 23 acres of the 62 acre site will be remediated and developed. Both projects will be completed over the course of 11 years beginning in 2014.

The website with more details about the proposed project can be found at newwilletspointqueens.com.
