Like most of the photos we find, we don't have much to go on with this one, but we do know that it came from the Office of the Queens Borough President, but there is not date so we're not sure if it came from the Donald Manes administration or if it was taken during the tenure of Claire Shulman.
And we don't see either one of the them in the photo, so we're wondering if maybe one of their deputy borough presidents is somewhere in the shot.
Either way, it looks like a pretty serious discussion going on about some sort of development or renovation project. There are also some folks in the background putting on hardhats, perhaps preparing for some sort of tour.
Other than that, we don't have much to go on, but we're sure somebody out there with a strong Queens political pedigree can help us out. (We here at Pol Position already caught a lot of grief because the photo we ran in the May 7th issue of then-governor Mario Cuomo's State of the State address was too easy, so we thought we would make things a little harder!)
