The good old bad days of NYC

We came across this snapshot while digging though our unarchived photos recently, a pretty stark reminder of what the subways used to look like back when New York City was caught in the throes of an economic crisis. We are assuming this is the subway station on the Q line at the intersection of Parkside and Ocean avenues in Flatbush at the southeast corner of Prospect Park. And it appears that a group of city officials are touring the stop to consider ways to address its dilapidated nature, but we don't recognize any of them and the only note on the photo is that it should be run at a width of “three columns.” If any of our readers recognize any of the people in the picture, get in touch with us at polposition@queensledger.com.
