I find it very annoying that certain takeout restaurants are not collecting the correct tax on an item and charging me more instead.
Recently, a 22-cent sales tax became 25 cents on an order I placed. The worker said she was making it even, a $4.90 bill was rounded off $5 for two soups.
Yes, we're talking about petty change, but why are these restaurants rounding it up in their favor? It seems kind of illegal to me.
