The Terriers are three wins away from the NCAA Final Four in Stanford as they prepare for the Eastern Championships at Navy beginning November 21.

St. Francis will face Bucknell in the first match then most probably have to overcome their chief East Coast rivals, Navy and Princeton to get back to claim the Eastern Championship and get back to the Final Four.

A loss to Brown earlier this season placed St. Francis as the #2 seed for the Northern Championships. But the Terriers rolled over Queens College 16-9 and Iona 17-6 before avenging the loss to Brown in the title game with a 15-5 victory.

The Northerns win is the fifth straight for St. Francis and the fourth straight over Brown in the finals.

St. Francis now has a 12-game winning streak in Northern Division competition and has won 14 of its last 15 games in division championship play, with a 10-9 sudden death overtime loss to Queens College in the 2004 title game the only blight.

The Terrier first and only appearance in the NCAA Final Four was in 2005.
