Sophomore Jeverton De Lorenzi opened the scoring in the 8th minute as he took a feed from Nick Baum and blasted a winner from 10 yards out. Sallhag then recorded the first of his goals as he placed a perfect shot into the upper right corner at the 30:57 mark after Alex Silaco found him after a free kick. Freshman Robbie Weir made it 3-0 in the 44th minute after the Jaspers were unable to clear a corner kick.
The Terriers increased their advantage to 4-0 in the 61st minute as Sallhag struck once again following a cross from Anthony Matos (2 assists).
Manhattan got on the board in the 66th minute as Fernando Londono scored off a rebound. But the Terriers answered right back as senior Giuseppe Buscemi knocked in his own rebound after an initial shot by Diego Martinez. James Gannon tallied in the closing minutes for the Jaspers to round out the scoring.
The five goals are the most the Terriers have scored since a 4-3 victory over Sacred Heart on October 10, 2004.
Alex Silaco and Nick Baum added assists for the Terriers, who are now 3-0 at home.
