The latest noise from the MTA is not very good: they are proposing to hike fares on all public transportation and area bridges and tunnels to help close the very large gap in its budget.
Once again, the burden for all of this will fall on all the hardworking people who heavily rely on public transit, and bridges and tunnels.
The MTa executives should all take a pay cut- they are paid some of the most bloated salaries in the New York area. Clean up your own house, MTA, before you unnecessarily raise fares that we New Yorkers are sick and tired of having to pay.
