The first time Queens got a look at the fashion brand 34-24-36 was in September of 2010, at the 2nd annual Queens Fashion Week.

That was where fashion designer and founder Sarah Bacchus tore up the runway with her refreshingly new, interesting designs. Now Bacchus is back again with a new collection titled the “Aurora Collection” and a fifteen-month old baby!

“It’s a large collection,” Bacchus said. “I wanted to do something more because I had been off for a year. I really wanted to wow everyone with more options and more pieces.” Color has been a major inspiration for the collection. Most of the colors originated from one particular print in her collection, the “Aurora Print.”

“There are no rules for colors,” Bacchus said. “As long as you do it right, it works. There’s no rule for when and where to wear them, colors are always fun and happy.”

Not only do Bacchus’ rich colors and pleasing textures make her brand unique, but they are also the signature “perfect fit,” the meaning behind the conversation-starter title of the company.

Purchasing a piece from Bacchus’ brand is quite different from buying something from a store. There is no disappointing moment of bringing it home to realize it doesn’t fit properly. With 34-24-36, each purchase is customized and tailored to the perfect fit of the buyer.

“With 34-24-36, we cater to customers of all sizes because it is not about the perfect shape or perfect figure,” she said. “It’s about the perfect fit.

“34-24-36 is the universal measurements of bust, waist and hips for the so-called perfect figure or perfect shape,” she continued. “But I want people to know that I do not cater to only small-figured bodies.”
