The Red Storm (5-0) cruised to victory on Sunday afternoon, leading wire-to-wire and securing the best start in the Joe Tartamella era with a 71-49 victory over Wagner (0-5) in Carnesecca Arena.

“I’m happy with our performance in a number of areas,” said head coach Tartamella. “I thought this was a better team win for us as far as how we played for a 40-minute span than we did the other day.”

Next on the schedule for St. John’s was a December 5th matchup against Xavier at Carnesecca Arena.
