That was a very informing letter from the president of the American Lung Association (2/27/14).
Back when I used to smoke, I told myself that if the butts ever went to a buck a pack, I would quit. I did sometime when they were near 90 cents a pack. It truly boggles my mind whenever I see their prices at pharmacies of all places - where we go to get meds for goodness sakes - bodegas or gas stations.
No wonder there are so many poor peeps. Some would rather smoke than eat. It really is a tough monkey to get off your back. If you’re trying to quit, then check out: smokersodyssey.com.
There’s nothing to buy, it’s just one funny tale of a guy trying to quit. Maybe you can find encouragement there with someone whose been through it.
