Dear Editor:

The recent problems with the Sayreville football team hazing incident should make it very plain that there needs to be better supervision of players by their coaches in the locker rooms.

Also, parents of those who play not only football, but all other high school sports, need to talk to their kids about proper and respectful behavior. That is where it all should begin, in the home.

Coaches need to reinforce the moral values that parents teach their children.
