As we approach Memorial Day, many things come to mind.
First of all, let's remember all those who gave their lives to protect our nation. Let us also salute all of our brave men and women who are now serving today to preserve those freedoms we hold most dear.
I find myself thinking what it means to be an American. It is to live in a nation that allows us our personal freedom and the ability to speak our minds. We as Americans must dedicate ourselves to making this a greater nation.
So on Memorial Day, attend parades in our communities and cheer our brave men and women serving in the military. If you know a veteran, give them a call and thank them for a job well done.
