Major League Soccer teamed up with Metro Kids Soccer League this past weekend for an awards ceremony celebrating the end of the soccer season in Flushing Meadows Corona Park. Over 1,200 youth players were presented with trophies and awards, as well as soccer prizes donated by Major League Soccer.

MLS also provided educational material on nutrition and healthy lifestyles for children through MLS W.O.R.K.S., Major League Soccer’s community outreach initiative and its Active Bodies Active Minds program. The event took place on Field 3 in Flushing Meadows Corona Park

“MLS is thrilled to continue working with soccer leagues in Flushing Meadows Corona Park,” said MLS President Mark Abbott. “We are excited to be a part of this vibrant soccer community, and remain committed to keep growing this sport together.”
