Dear Editor,

There is no reason why the Confederate flag, a symbol of racial hatred and slavery, should be flown publicly anywhere.

With our country still continuing to have ongoing and necessary protests over the death of George Floyd, any symbol that represents racial hatred must be removed.

Confederate flags have no place in America's cities or towns. They are symbols of hatred and bigotry.
