The Bishop Kearney High School swim team took first place in the B Division Dual Meet at this year’s championships held at the Aquatic Center in Eisenhower Park.

Sophomore Cassidy Andre finished first in the 200-meter individual medley, leading to an “A” qualifying time. Junior Shannon Minogue and freshman Olivia Franki finished first and third respectively in the 500-meter individual freestyle.

In addition to the team’s success at this year’s competition, Kearney swim coach Chris Stokes was presented with the Girls Catholic High Schools Athletic Association (GCHSAA) Swimming League Vinny Harkins Memorial Coach of the Year Award.
