The people of your area are fortunate to be served by the dedicated line crews of
Con Edison – a dedication we witnessed firsthand when they joined line workers from FirstEnergy utilities to restore service to about one million of our customers following high winds on September 14.
This storm caused widespread and unprecedented damage throughout our electric system, requiring repairs at thousands of locations. Con Edison employees worked side-by-side with our crews under some of the most difficult conditions we’ve seen in years, and their support played a key role as we were able to restore service to our customers as quickly as possible.
We can assure you that our FirstEnergy companies stand ready to provide the same aggressive response should your area be faced with similar conditions.
