Brooklyn Open coming to Marine Park Golf Course

In October, Marine Park Golf Course will crown the premier professional and amateur golfers in the metropolitan area when it hosts the inaugural Brooklyn Open.

The one day medal play tournament will be held Monday, October 21, on the links-style, Robert Trent Jones design that stretches nearly 7,000 yards, making it the longest test in New York City.

“We are excited to host the inaugural Brooklyn Open for top metropolitan area professionals and amateurs,” said Marine Park Golf Course operator Mike Giordano. “This gives us an opportunity to showcase improvements made at Marine Park and at the same time deliver a first-class golf tournament experience in Brooklyn.”

Entry fee is $225 for professionals and $125 for amateurs with a handicap of 10 or less. To sign up, visit or Deadline to enter is October 14.

There will prize money awarded to the top professional players and gift certificates to the top amateur finishers. The field will be capped at 90 players.
