Anthony served in the US Army during the Second World War. He later attended St. John's University on a scholarship, and received an advanced degree in English literature from Columbia U. Anthony worked for many years for a shoe company in Manhattan, as well as for GHI and the Social Security Administration. Anthony was known for his exceptional singing voice and general musical knowledge. The Army assigned him to the entertainment field. He was an avid reader and took advantage of the many cultural and educational opportunites afforded by NYC. He attended Our Lady Queen of Martyrs Catholic Church near his home.
Anthony is survived by his brother Vincent Trezza, and his sister-in-law Jean, of Florida; 10 nieces and nephews; 16 great nieces and nephews, and 1 great- grandniece. A private memorial will be held by the family.
